Two killed in Islamabad bank bombing (Lead)
June 13th, 2011 - 5:27 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, June 13 (IANS) A security guard was killed and several people were injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up at the entrance of a private bank in Islamabad Monday, Geo News reported.
The suicide bomber tried to enter the building located in Sector I-8 area of the Pakistani capital, and upon resistance from the guard, he detonated the explosives.
Rescue and police teams have arrived at the site of the explosion.
The front of the building was destroyed in the blast, witnesses said.
