Two killed in group clash in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal, Feb 3 (IANS) At least two people were killed and three others seriously injured in a gun battle between two groups Tuesday in Madhya Pradesh’s Morena district, the police said. “The dispute occurred at a shop in Jaroni village when two groups clashed over selling of crops. Soon people from both sides started exchanging fire, in which five people sustained bullet injuries and two of them died on the spot,” Morena police superintendent Santosh Kumar Singh told IANS by telephone.

Those killed have been identified as Bharat Singh and Hakim Singh. The injured have been admitted to Morena district hospital where their condition was stated to be critical.

The police have registered a case and were looking for the culprits.
