Two killed in fire
December 31st, 2011 - 12:24 am ICT by IANSAkola (Maharashtra), Dec 30 (IANS) Two people were killed and two others were severely injured in a fire after a stove burst in this Maharashtra town Friday, police said.
Those killed have been identified as Harish Ingale, 35, and Sukeshini Ingale, 30. Harish’s sister Sadhna Arakhrao, 45, and neighbour Manish Gavai, 21, were critically injured.
“According to Sadhna and Manisha, Sukeshini was cooking when the stove malfunctioned and burst into flames,” an official from Old City police station told IANS.
Sadhna and Manisha have suffered over 95 percent burns.
