Two killed after hitting police vehicle
February 16th, 2012 - 12:33 am ICT by IANSMumbai, Feb 15 (IANS) Two men on a motorcycle were killed Wednesday after they collided with a police vehicle here while taking a sharp turn, police said.
The incident occurred near the Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Borivli in northwest Mumbai.
“The motorbike driver lost control while coming from a blind turn. The motorbike slipped and hit the police car coming from the opposite direction,” an official from the local Kasturba Police Station told IANS.
Both men suffered head injuries along with injuries on their limbs and died on the spot. Police are in the process of identifying them and intimating their families.
