Two held with hashish in Delhi
March 9th, 2010 - 9:07 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 9 (IANS) Two men were arrested here with 22 kg of fine quality hashish, police said Tuesday.
Ajay Kumar, 20, and Rajesh Kumar, 22, both from Bihar, were arrested Monday from near the Shastri Park Metro station in the city’s north by the narcotics cell of Delhi Police Crime Branch.
“They had 22 kg of hashish. They revealed that their gang leader is based near the India-Nepal border and sends carriers through train with the contraband to Delhi (and nearby areas),” said Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Neeraj Thakur.
