Two held with 5,000 pirated CDs in Chandigarh
February 27th, 2011 - 3:35 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, Feb 27 (IANS) Two people were arrested here with nearly 5,000 pirated CDs and VCDs of movies and music albums, police said Sunday.Acting on a tip-off, they laid a trap and nabbed the men late Saturday from Sector 17, the commercial hub of this union territory.
“Rajinder Singh and Sanjay Kumar are residents of Sector 26. We have recovered around 5,000 pirated CDs and DVDs of latest movies and music albums. They have been booked under various sections of the copyright act,” a police official said.
