Two held with 4,500 pirated CDs
April 14th, 2011 - 2:34 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, April 14 (IANS) Two people were arrested here after about 4,600 pirated CDs and DVDs of latest movies and music albums were seized from their shops, police said Thursday.
The accused have been identified as Sandeep Kumar and Sunil. Both of them were running shops in Ramdarbar, a suburb here.
“Acting on a tip-off, we laid a trap and conducted raids at the shops Wednesday night. They have been booked under various sections of the Copyrights Act 1957,” said a police official.
