Two held in Delhi for killing a youth in road rage
October 14th, 2011 - 9:20 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 14 (IANS) Two people were arrested here for beating to death an 18-year-old youth who asked to be given way while he was on his way home in Ghaziabad Oct 5, police said Friday.
Ghaziabad residents Sandeep Singh, 21, and Manoj Singh, 22, were arrested at Kalyanpuri in east Delhi Thursday when they came to meet friends, Deputy Police Commissioner Ashok Chand said.
The 18-year-old Mohit was victim in an altercation at Gagan Vihar that followed when he asked to be given way. He was beaten with sticks and iron rods.
Mohit’s friend Tejpal was also injured in the incident.
The assailants were on the run after the incident.
