Two held for murdering policeman
May 9th, 2011 - 9:20 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 9 (IANS) Two men have been arrested for allegedly murdering a Delhi Police head constable whose body was found with multiple stab wounds in a park here, police said Monday.
Sonu Singh, 26, was caught from Nangli Dairy area here and Rakesh, 21, from Gautambudh Nagar in Uttar Pradesh respectively.
The deceased, Kailash, 45, was found in a pool of blood in a park in Dwarka.
His service pistol and a wallet containing Rs.12,000 were missing, Deputy Commissioner of Police Anil Kumar Ojha said.
Rakesh told police that on the night of May 4-5 he and Sonu Singh, Sanju Nepali and a fourth man stabbed Kailash and left him to die after robbing his pistol, mobile phone and wallet.
