Lucknow, Nov 11 (IANS) Two people, including a teenager, were arrested Thursday for abducting a minor boy for ransom and then killing him in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur district, police said.

Narendra Kumar (19) masterminded the abduction of four-year-old Neeraj, the son of his neighbour, for ransom and and later killed him. Kumar’s accomplice was named as his 20-year-old friend Gajendra.

With the help of the electronic surveillance, we managed to trace the teenager and his friend, who had abducted Neeraj,” police inspector Mani Ram Kumar told reporters in Shahjahanpur, some 150-km from Lucknow.
