Two held, 35 kg marijuana seized
April 21st, 2011 - 12:04 am ICT by IANSRaipur, April 20 (IANS) Two people were arrested Wednesday in Chhattisgarh and more than 35 kg marijuana was seized from them, police said.
The arrests were made from Ambikapur town, headquarters of Surguja district, about 350 km from capital Raipur.
“Acting on a tip-off apolice squad tracked down Ramesh Yadav, 20, and Sanjay Das, 21, with more than 35 kilogram marijuana that was stuffed in two plastic bags,” said local police officer R.K. Mishra.
