Two government employees robbed
March 9th, 2010 - 9:59 pm ICT by IANSGhaziabad, March 9 (IANS) Two motorcycle borne men robbed two government employees working with the electricity department of Rs.367,000 here Tuesday, police said.
The incident occurred at 1.30 p.m. in Rajendra Nagar. The employees of the Uttar Pradesh Power Corp Ltd, who were travelling by scooter, were taking the cash to deposit it in the bank.
The men on motorcycle hit them from behind. As the victims fell on the road, the robbers snatched the cash bag and escaped.
