Two foreigners held in drugs case
May 16th, 2010 - 5:38 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 16 (IANS) Two foreign nationals have been arrested here on charges of possessing 1.7 kg of cocaine worth Rs.2 crore in international maket, an official said Sunday.
A Filipino woman, Laya Emilyn Mananquil, was held when she arrived at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here Saturday.
According to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) official, Mananquil concealed the contraband worth Rs.2 crore in her baggage.
She revealed about her associate, Nigerian national Choka, who was later arrested from Nawada area of west Delhi, the official added.
