Two engineers die in freak accident
March 19th, 2010 - 9:35 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Patiala, March 19 (IANS) Two engineers were killed here Friday when their car caught fire after ramming into a truck ferrying stones, police said.
Gurjeet Singh (28) and Aman Goyal (28) died before anyone could rush to their rescue. They were going to Ropar town when the accident took place.
“Due to friction, the truck’s tyres caught fire. The fire engulfed the car. The engineers were burnt to death,” police officer Gurmail Singh told IANS. The truck driver, Harpal Singh, fled from the scene.
