Two drowned in Agra
May 25th, 2011 - 12:14 am ICT by IANSAgra, May 24 (IANS) Two of the three teenagers who had gone out fishing at the Yamuna river bank near Sikandra and decided to take a dip, drowned Tuesday, police said.
Sikandra police station officials said police divers had recovered one body while search for the other is still on.
Vakeel, 14, Arun 15, and Nanhe, 13, were fishing when the heat tempted them to jump into the river, But they found themselves in deep waters. Nanhe somehow managed to swim back to the bank and raised an alarm. Villagers from nearby areas rushed to the spot, but the other two had drowned by then.
