Two die in Kashmir Valley road accidents
June 14th, 2011 - 9:25 pm ICT by IANSSrinagar, June 14 (IANS) Two persons were killed and five others injured in separate road accidents in Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday.
An 80-year-old resident of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district died in a hospital after he was hit by a speeding auto-rickshaw outside the tourist reception centre in Srinagar, police said.
In another incident, a man from north Kashmir’s Sopore town, who had been injured in a road accident June 10, died in a city hospital Tuesday.
The man was hit by a woman tourist’s motorcycle on Boulevard Road in the city.
Five people, including three boys and a girl, were injured in other road accidents, according to the police.
