Two crushed by oil tanker in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, Oct 27 (IANS) A tanker of the state-run Indian Oil Corporation crushed two people to death Monday in Uttar Pradesh’s Allahabad district, the police said.”The accident took place on the Allahabad-Varanasi G.T. Road where the speeding tanker crushed down two motorcycle-borne youth,” district police chief L. Shukla told IANS by phone.

“Efforts are on to trace the absconding driver,” he added. The identity of the victims also is yet to be ascertained, he said.
