Two CRPF troopers killed in Jharkhand
September 27th, 2011 - 10:04 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Sep 27 (IANS) Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers were killed in a gun-battle with Maoists in Jharkhand’s Bokaro district Tuesday, police said.
“Two CRPF personnel were killed and three were injured in a gun-battle with Maoist guerrillas at Jhumra hill,” a police spokesperson told IANS.
The gunfight was sparked off when Jharkhand Police and CRPF personnel raided a Maoist hideout.
The injured CRPF men were air-lifted to Ranchi for treatment.
