Two cops feared killed in Maoist ambush
February 9th, 2012 - 9:09 pm ICT by IANSRaipur, Feb 9 (IANS) At least two policemen were feared killed when Maoists ambushed a team of six personnel in Bastar region Thursday, an officer said.
The police team came under attack in a forest in Pollampalli area of Sukma district, some 500 km south of Raipur.
“It was a well-executed ambush. Two of the six are feared killed while a senior officer is reported to be seriously injured,” a source at police headquarters here told IANS.
