Two CISF troopers hit by government vehicle

New Delhi, Nov 12 (IANS) Two Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) troopers sustained leg injuries Friday when a government vehicle being driven by a friend of the driver hit them, police said

“The vehicle, belongs to social justice and empowerment ministry. It was driven by Rajiv, a friend of the driver, Jagdish,” said a police officer.

Jagdish had allegedly handed over the car to Rajiv to practice for a driving test that he was to take in a few days. Rajiv lost control over the vehicle and hit the two troopers deployed at the Shastri Bhawan, which houses several government ministries.

“Both Jagdish and Rajiv have been arrested and the vehicle impounded,” the police officer said.
