Two burnt alive as car catches fire
June 29th, 2010 - 10:16 pm ICT by IANSAgra, June 29 (IANS) The driver of a vehicle was burnt alive Tuesday as his car caught fire after hitting a truck on the outskirts of the city, police said. The helper, who sustained 100 percent burns, later died in hospital.
The Maruti van, running on gas, collided with a truck near Tehra turn close to Saiyan village, on the Gwalior road.
The driver, Khilauni, 24, died on the spot.
Villagers rushed to the spot when they heard the noise but the van had turned into a ball of fire by then, police said.
