Two Babbar Khalsa terrorists nabbed
December 23rd, 2011 - 1:29 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 23 (IANS) Two suspected Babbar Khalsa International terrorists have been arrested from Delhi and Punjab, police said Friday.
According to sources, the two were planning to target some political and religious leaders.
“One terrorist belonging to Babbar Khalsa International was arrested from Shalimar Bagh area of Delhi on Thursday night,” Deputy Commissioner of Delhi police Ashok Chand told IANS.
According to sources, another terrorist of the same group has also been arrested from Punjab.
Babbar Khalsa played a major role in the Punjab insurgency in the 1980s demanding a separate Khalistan.
