Two arrested with 29 sacks of opium
May 21st, 2011 - 6:42 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, May 21 (IANS) Jharkhand police arrested two people along with 29 sacks of opium from Chatra district in the state Saturday, police said.
According to police, security forces arrested the two men after a raid in Kali Mahuwa village near Lawalong in Chatra district, around 170 km from Ranchi.
Police sources said that the farmers grow opium in many places of Chatra with the support of Maoists.
