Twin British sisters who simultaneously got cancer
September 3rd, 2011 - 6:57 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Sep 3 (IANS) Twin six-year-old sisters were struck with cancer within a week of each other in Britain. They are now both recovering well.
Daily Express said that Megan and Gracie Garwood were barely four years old when they were diagnosed with leukaemia. Two years on, the six-year-olds are “doing brilliantly”.
“They have had some tough times and I think at the moment they are being little children again,” a relative was quoted as saying.
Megan and Gracie are coping well.
“Not once have they ever said ‘I don?t want to have this treatment?, as much as they hate it. They understand it?s making them better.
?We just want a bit of normality now and to have some fun after all we?ve been through,? the relative added.
