Triple murder in Ghaziabad, two held
January 4th, 2012 - 12:23 am ICT by IANSGhaziabad, Jan 3 (IANS) Two people have been held for the murder of a migrant worker’s wife and her teenaged sister and brother in their house in Ghaziabad Tuesday, police said.
Arti, 20, the wife of migrant worker Sonu, his sister Khushboo, 15, and bother Monu, 12, were found murdered in Sandeep Colony around 6 p.m.
Arti’s month-old baby was not harmed and was found near her body.
At the time of incident, Sonu, the main earning member of the family from Bihar, was away at work. The dead bodies were discovered by his mother after returning from the market.
Inspector General of Police Rajiv Krishna said: “The robbery motive could not be ruled out. Two people have been taken into custody.”
