Trinidad PM to inaugurate school building near Jaipur

Jaipur, Jan 8 (IANS) Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar will visit the Shankara Group of Institutions at Kukas near here Monday to inaugurate the main building of the Shankara International School and attend the convocation ceremony of the Post Graduate Diploma in Managrement (PGDM) course.Sant Kumar Chaudhary, Chairman of the Shankara Group of Institutions said: “The prime minister will inaugurate the new campus and a state-of-art Sir CV Raman Auditorium. In addition, she will release the special edition of ‘Technikon’, a technical journal published by the group, during her visit to the campus.”

Chaudhary added that the prime minister is likely to announce a socio-cultural tie-up between both countries and Shankara will join hands with Trinidad and Tobago to take it forward.

The prime minister will also award degrees to the PGDM students.

She will be accompanied by several Trinidad and Tobago ministers along with Indian ministers and those from Rajasthan. Technical Education Minister Ram Kishore Saini will preside over the function.
