Tree falls on train, one killed
August 15th, 2011 - 5:00 pm ICT by IANSLucknow, Aug 15 (IANS) A tree fell on a moving train in Uttar Pradesh’s Ambedkar Nagar district Monday, killing a passenger and injuring five others, including the driver.
The freak accident took place when the engine collapsed on the engine of Utsarg Express near Ahrauli railway station, Government Railway Police inspector Roshan Lal said.
The train was heading to Kanpur from Bihar’s Chapra town.
