Trader kidnapped in Bihar for ransom
January 22nd, 2010 - 5:40 pm ICT by IANSPatna, Jan 22(IANS) A trader was kidnapped for ransom by unidentified criminals in Bihar’s Jamui district, police said Friday.
Pradeep Kumar Sah, who runs a business, was kidnapped from a deserted place in Jamui, late Thursday. Jamui district is about 150 km from here.
Sah’s kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs.10 lakh from his family Thursday.
“Kidnappers used Sah’s mobile phone to demand the ransom,” police said.
A case has been lodged and police have begun investigations.
