Tigress gives birth to one cub
November 21st, 2011 - 9:11 pm ICT by IANSBhopal, Nov 21 (IANS) A nine-year-old tigress of the Van Vihar National Park here gave birth to two cubs, one of which was stillborn.
The tigress, Basni, has not yet separated the dead cub from her. She is feeding the living cub, an official said Monday.
Basni had given birth to two cubs April 22 as well. Both the cubs had died. At present, the movements of Basni are being monitored through CCTV cameras.
