Nov. 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tiger Woods, the golfer was reportedly involved in a car crash in front of his house, resulting in his being hurt and his hospitalization early Friday morning. Woods was reportedly backing out from his IsleWorth community driveway in his 2009 Cadillac Sports utility Vehivle in the morning at around 2.25 A.M, but accidentally collided with a fire hydrant followed by hitting his neighbor’s tree. This was reported by the highway patrol authorities of Florida, where he lives in Orlando.

The authorities issued an official statement almost half a day later than the accident and did not make it clear as to where the 33-year-old golfer was headed so early in the morning. Sources also claim that Elin, the golfer’s wife had to make use of a golf club to break-in the car’s back window in order to get Woods out. When the police arrived, they found the couple lying in the street: Woods with a bloody mouth and Elin near him. The authorities also said that Woods was drifting in and out of consciousness loosing his consciousness when he tried to get-up by himself.

Tiger Wood’s official website had a little more information about the sport star’s condition saying that he was now in a “good condition” and has been released from the “Health Central Hospital near Ocoee, Fla”. When the troopers came in to meet the golfer on Friday, they were sent back by Elin, saying that Woods was resting.

The authorities have also declared that the Woods was not drunk but it is unclear whether or not he was wearing a seat-belt. The crash-reason continues to be investigated.
