February 25th, 2008 - 8:25 pm ICT by admin -

Tuticorin (Tamil Nadu), Feb 25 (IANS) Three people from Tamil Nadu’s Tuticorin district are believed to be on board the M.V. Rezzak, the vessel missing off the coast of Turkey. The ship, missing since Feb 18, has 25 crewmembers. M.V. Rezzak belongs to Pelican Shipping, a Mumbai-based company, which also owned the Jupiter-6 ship that was lost off the African shore two years ago.

Antony Alankaran Pieo (28) and Sesu Messler (26) are two of three seamen from Tuticorin district, local media said.

The Directorate General of Shipping is yet to officially inform their families about the missing ship.
