Three schoolboys injured as bus hits scooty
April 28th, 2011 - 2:07 am ICT by IANSGhaziabad, April 28 (IANS) Three schoolboys were injured, two of them seriously, when a private bus hit the scooty they were riding in the Sahibabad area of Ghaziabad Wednesday afternoon.
According to POlice Circle Officer Amit Verma, Shivam, 12, Guddu Yadav, 13, and Talim, 12, all students of Diwakar Model Public School in Shyam Park Extension, were going home on a scooty.
As they were taking a turn on the G.T. Road from the Shyam Park G-block Road, a private bus hit their small gearless two-wheeler.
The children were rushed to the Narinder Mohan Hospital from where Guddu and Talim were referred to a Delhi hospital. Shivam was said to be out of danger.
“We have impounded the bus while the driver is absconding,” said the official.
