Three prisoners die mysteriously
June 5th, 2011 - 8:06 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, June 5 (IANS) Three prisoners at the Birsa Munda central jail here Sunday died under mysterious circumstances, police said.
The three were admitted in critical condition in the Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) and died there.
While jail authorities issued no statement, doctors suspect poisoning.
“We were initially told the prisoners’ condition deterioted due to food poisoning but it seems they were poisoned,” said an informed source.
