Three pharma plant workers injured
November 28th, 2011 - 2:23 pm ICT by IANSHyderabad, Nov 28 (IANS) Three workers suffered serious burns when a reactor exploded at a pharmaceutical plant in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district early Monday, police said.
The injured were taken to a private hospital in Visakhapatnam, where the condition of all of them is stated to be critical with over 90 percent burns.
The victims belonged to Aurobindo Pharma in Pydibhimavaram and are aged between 35 and 50 years.
They were first taken to a nearby hospital but were later shifted to Visakhapatnam.
