Three Nigerians held for cheating Delhi businessman
February 10th, 2010 - 8:44 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Feb 10 (IANS) Three Nigerians were arrested for cheating a south Delhi real estate developer of Rs.1 lakh, police said Wednesday.
Daniel, 35, Goldstime Ozemoya, 30, and Jude Ufuoma, 33, were arrested Tuesday for cheating the businessman, Aman Garg.
The three Nigerians had approached Garg on the pretext of investing in real estate, police said.
Police said the accused Nigerians came to India in December 2009.
On Monday, they were arrested in east Delhi for an online lottery fraud. They would inform their intended victims that they had won a lottery and then ask for money to process the claim and secure the won amount of lottery.
