Three Maoists held in Orissa
October 23rd, 2009 - 11:24 pm ICT by IANSBhubaneswar, Oct 23 (IANS) Three suspected Maoists were arrested Friday from Rayagada district in Orissa, police said.
“We arrested three Maoists in an early (Friday) morning operation. The three were named in many police cases,” said Rayagada Superintendent of Police Ashish Singh. Rayagada is more than 300 km from here.
According to the police, of the three arrested men, one is a Maoist cadre while two are sympathizers.
