Three Maoists from Assam held in Orissa
February 12th, 2011 - 5:33 pm ICT by IANSBhubaneswar, Feb 12 (IANS) Three Maoist activists from Assam were arrested in Orissa’s Sundergarh district Saturday, police said.They were arrested from Saranda forest area. One of them identified himself as Aditya Bara, central committee member of the Communist Party of India-Maoist.
“We are verifying his claim,” Inspector General of Police (operation) Sanjeev Marik told IANS.
The district headquarters of Sundergarh is about 400 km from state capital Bhubaneswar.
