Three Maoists arrested in Ranchi
December 13th, 2010 - 6:55 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Dec 13 (IANS) Three Maoist guerrillas, including a woman, were arrested on the outskirts of Ranchi Monday and explosives recovered from them, police said.The three rebels, belonging to the outlawed Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), were arrested from Tamar-Arki road.
Four quintal of explosives and a large number of gelatin sticks were recovered from the rebels, police said, adding that they suspected the rebels intended to disrupt the ongoing panchayat polls.
