Three landmines recovered in Jharkhand
November 3rd, 2010 - 7:20 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Nov 3 (IANS) Three landmines were recovered from the outskirts of Ranchi during anti-Maoist operations Wednesday, police said.
The landmines, including one remote-controlled claymore landmine, were recovered from the jungle areas of Bundu, some 45 km from here. The weight of the landmines varies from 20 kg to 40 kg.
It was a joint search operation of the state police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). In the last three months, more than 50 landmines have been recovered from the state during such operations.
