Three killed in stone crusher mine blast in Jharkhand
June 14th, 2011 - 7:15 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, June 14 (IANS) Three labourers were killed and four others were injured in a blast that took place in a stone crusher mine in Jharkhand’s Pakur district Tuesday, police said.
According to police, the blast took place in the crusher mine situated at Ramnagar in the district, around 290 km from Ranchi.
The injured were admitted to hospital and their condition was said to be critical. The labourers alleged that safety norms were overlooked in the mines.
