Three killed in four different accidents in Noida

Noida, April 24 (IANS) Three people were killed and five injured in four separate accidents in Noida since Thursday night, police said Friday.
In the first accident, an executive in a private firm was killed while his friend was critically injured in an accident near the Film City Thursday night. Ashok Kumar was returning home with a friend on a motorcycle at 10.30 pm on Thursday. As they approached the Film City, Ashok, who was driving, lost balance, hitting the divider.

He fell on the railing and died on the spot while his friend was critically injured.

In the second case, a call centre cab driver was killed on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway after a truck hit him early Friday. According to officials of the Sector-39 police station, the call centre cab was returning after dropping employees when a truck rammed into it on the expressway.

When Sabir, the injured cab driver, got out and was walking towards the side of the road, another speeding truck hit him, killing him on the spot.

In a third case, a software engineer was killed when a speeding truck hit his motorcycle near Chhalera village in Sector-37 area.

Harit Mathur, software engineer with a firm at Logix Park in Sector-127, was going to his office at about 9 a.m. Friday when he was hit by a truck. He died on the spot.

In the fourth case, a call centre vehicle was hit by a truck near Mamura, injuring four employees.
