Three killed in building collapse
December 9th, 2011 - 7:14 pm ICT by IANSSolapur (Maharashtra), Dec 9 (IANS) Three people, including two octogenarians, were killed Friday when a part of a building collapsed in Barshi town of this Maharashtra district, police said here.
“Two died on the spot and their bodies were pulled out by fire brigade officials. Another person was injured and succumbed to his injuries in the hospital,” an official from Barshi police station told IANS.
Those killed have been identified as Sushilabai Rudrawar, 80, Murlidhar Rudrawar, 80, and Shobha Mathapati, 38.
Barshi town is around 75 km from the district headquarters of Solapur.
