Three killed in blast near Madurai
October 6th, 2009 - 8:35 pm ICT by IANSChennai, Oct 6 (IANS) Three people were killed and two injured Tuesday evening when an explosion rocked a railway station near Madurai in Tamil Nadu, police said.
The exact nature of the explosion was not clear. The blast occurred at the Cholavandan railway station, about 25 km from Madurai city, just when a passenger train entered the platform.
