Three killed in accidents near Noida

Noida, Jan 7 (IANS) At least three people were killed and four others injured in two separate accidents near here Wednesday, the police said. In the first accident, two people travelling in an autorickshaw which was coming from Vijay Nagar to Noida, were killed and four others injured after the autorickshaw was hit by a State Roadways bus around 12 a.m. Wednesday, the police said.

“One of the victims has been identified as Yogesh Narayan. We are trying to identify the other victim,” a police official said.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital, the police added.

In the other accident, a 30-year-old man was hit by an unidentified vehicle about 2 a.m. His body was found Wednesday morning by the Greater Noida police.

“We are trying to ascertain the victim’s identity,” said an official at the Kasna police station.
