Washington, Aug 13 (Xinhua) All three people on board a small medical plane have been killed when the aircraft crashed into a parking lot in Easton, Massachusetts, killing all three people aboard. Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Jim Peters said the plane was carrying a cancer patient to a hospital in Boston when the accident occurred Tuesday.

The cause of the accident was under investigation.

Peters said the bodies of the killed were charred beyond identification in the fire that engulfed the plane after it crashed.

The plane was being operated by Angel Flight Northeast, a volunteer group helping people who need to travel for medical treatment, according to Amy Camerlin, spokeswoman for the group.

It was the third fatal crash of medical planes in recent months in the US. The other two planes were also operated by Angel Flight Northeast.
