Three killed Afghanistan mine blast

Kabul, Dec 23 (IANS) Three people were killed in Afghanistan Friday in a mine explosion in Kandahar province, the interior ministry said.
“Three innocent civilians were killed when a sticky mine attached to a vehicle detonated in Mali village of Takhta Pul district of southern Kandahar province at around 10.00 a.m. Friday,” Xinhua reported the ministry as stating in a press release.
Taliban militants, who largely rely on roadside bombings, didn’t comment on the incident till last reports.
