Three kg cocaine seized in Austria
May 4th, 2012 - 3:06 am ICT by IANSVienna, May 4 (IANS) Around three kg of high-quality cocaine with an estimated value of 500,000 euros ($657,000) has been seized in Austria and six people arrested for drug trafficking.
The seizure took place in in the southern Austrian state of Carinthia, Xinhua reported.
The suspects include two Serbs, two Albanians and a Belgian, who transported the cocaine by car through Germany to Carinthia.
The case is being handled by Austrian Special Forces unit Cobra in conjunction with the Federal Criminal Police Office.
