Three injured as call centre cab catches fire
January 11th, 2012 - 11:37 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 11 (IANS) Two female call centre employees and their driver were injured when their cab caught fire in north Delhi Wednesday, said a fire official0.
The incident was reported around 6 p.m. in Rohini area.
Anita, 23, and Tanya, 25, who work at a Noida-based call centre, were on their way to office when the incident took place.
“Smelling something burning, the duo asked the driver Rambir to stop the vehicle. The driver stepped out and managed to pull both the girls out in time,” said the official.
While the two women received five percent burns, Rambir sustained injuries on his face.
The three were taken to Jaipur Golden Hospital and discharged after first-aid. The car was gutted in the fire.
