Three held for stealing over 100 motorcycles
February 1st, 2010 - 9:57 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Feb 1 (IANS) Three men have been arrested here for tealing over 100 motorbikes in the national capital, police said Monday.
Saleem Khan, 28, Mazid Ali, 35, and Suraj Khan, 26, were arrested Sunday near Dear Park in south Delhi. Their fourth accomplice Abbas is still on the run.
“Saleem Khan, who is the leader of the gang, said they have committed more than 100 motorbike thefts in the last six moths. We recovered 25 motorcycles from them,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (south Delhi) H.G.S. Dhaliwal.
“They used to sell these motorbikes to unsuspecting customers in northeastern states,” he added.
