Three held for murdering youth
June 6th, 2011 - 11:35 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 6 (IANS) Three people, including a woman, were arrested for murdering a 25-year-old youth in east Delhi, Police said Monday.
The accused have been identified as Manish, 33, Shakeel, 32, and Shama, 20.
On June 4, a man was found murdered with strangulation marks on his neck in Gokal Puri in east Delhi. The deceased was identified as Salim, said a police officer.
“During the interrogation, Manish confessed to have killed Salim as the deceased objected to Manish’s affair with his sister Shama. Salim used to abuse Shama for her relationship with Manish,” said the officer.
